Overview

Our college library has been in existence ever since the dawn of the Sarada Vilas Teachers College in 1963. We are proud to recollect the service rendered to our institution by Mr. R. S. Giri. He had a profound knowledge in library science and he worked in our college as a librarian.

The implementation of Mr. R. S. Giri plan for a comprehensive growth of the library has culminated into the present status. The other librarians who succeeded him, Mrs. Veena, Mrs. Geetha and Mrs. Vidya strived hard to maintain and improve the benchmark set by Mr. R. S. Giri, and made it at par with any University level library.

It is proud to say that several notable eminent personalities visited to our Library and expressed their candid compliments for the variety of books and services in the library. Currently, the library is curated by Ms. Divya S. who has digitalized the entire library.

The library retains its quality with several kinds of precious resource books, periodicals, reference books, government reports, electronic resources and other services offered to the pupil teachers.
